CONTENT

Lean Phase: Unique Value Proposition

Purpose: To establish how many people are willing to use a product which explains nutrition, what to eat and how to get it.

Assumption: Mothers with young children are willing to use a software platform which lets them identify missing foods from their diets and explains how to counteract this

Time Box: February to July

Success Metric: Malawians use this application 10,000 times

CRITERIA

Green light: Proceed to Solution and Utility Testing.

Success point: Malawians use this application 10,000 times

Orange light: Assess responses and determine why they are not interested in a paid solution. Reiterate MVP based on current UVP.

Failure point: Malawians use this application less than 1,000 times

Red light: Reiterate UVP based on problem definition (offer testing experiment).

Experimental Design

  1. Provide an offer for customers in terms of a poster advertisement or mass text message

  2. Give USSD for users to dial and receive information

  3. Provide information for customers through text message

  4. Offer a subscription through airtel money

  5. Provide USSD based application for re-use

  6. Victory
