Adopted Experiment

[ADOPTED EXPERIMENT]: Hidden Hunger Malawi - Customer Segment (B) - January 2019

CONTENT:

Lean Phase: Customer Segment

Assumption:

  • Potential stakeholders are willing to meet with PEV
  • Potential stakeholders have data and/or advice on the direction of the project
  • Potential stakeholders are interested in the app and a B2B solution

Time Box: January 2018 Weeks 1-4

Success Metric:

1) Number of groups which can provide access and/or advice on the direction of the project.

2) Number of groups interested in the app and a B2B solution.

CRITERIA

Green Light: Use data and advice to inform project direction. Proceed to utility testing if organisations are interested in the app.

Success Point: 5 organisations provide data/advice. 2 organisations are interested in the app.

Orange Light: Aim for lower-hanging fruit, organisations with smaller influence. Revisit December’s Stakeholder Contacts list: http://bit.ly/2Gx7dX1.

Failure Point: 0 organisations provide data/advice. 0 organisations are interested in the app.

Red Light: Revisit December’s Stakeholder Contacts list: http://bit.ly/2Gx7dX1 for more organisations. Reiterate the value of the app to businesses.

Experiment Build:

  1. Read https://projecteverest.crowdicity.com/post/792970.

  2. Call Patison (IPS) for a meeting and set context of new team

  3. Confirm meeting via email with The Hunger Project in Week 3 and set context of new team.

  4. Contact Project Peanut Butter.

  5. Find a contact with the Department of Nutrition, HIV and AIDS and arrange a meeting. The email we currently have is broken.
  6. Check emails for responses from groups already contacted: Children’s Fund of Malawi, Dept. of Nutrition, HIV and AIDs, ICCO Organisation, United Purpose, Valid Nutrition. We also reached out to: SUN and Seed Co. via their websites. Resend emails if no response.

  7. Consult December’s Stakeholder Contacts list: http://bit.ly/2Gx7dX1 for other organisations to reach out. Use this list to keep on top of who has been updated.

Ensure awareness regarding those who have been contacted in the past and preframe that you are a new team if already contacted. Use HUBSPOT to keep track of this.

Collaborate with WSU to ensure that any data needed is being collected and that a B2B solution is viable. Call WSU once a week to ensure this.
