[PROPOSED EXPERIMENT]: Hidden Hunger Malawi - Health Surveillance Assistants: Offer Test – December 2019

 


 


Lean Phase: Customer Segment


 


Assumption: Health Service Assistants (HSAs) are willing to meet with PEV. These HSAs will be interested in the USTAWI application and will express an interest in using the application in their work in the future. They will understand the barriers regarding malnutrition and are willing to provide first hand information on how to address the issue. 


 


Time Box: December Weeks 1-4


 


Success Metric:


1. Number of HSAs interested USTAWI in the application and see the social benefit in the use of the application in urban and rural communities.


2. Number of HSAs who would give a recommendation to use the USTAWI application in the future.


3. Number of HSA’s which can provide information and/or advice to inform the direction of the project.


 


CRITERIA


Green Light: Approach Department of Nutrition with recommendations from HSAs to examine possibilities for funding or partnership. Use information and advice to inform project direction.


Success Point: 5 HSAs are interested in the app. 5 HSAs are willing to give a recommendation. 5 HSAs provide information on malnutrition.


Orange Light: 2-5 HSAs are interested in the app. 2-5 HSAs are willing to give a recommendation. 2-5 HSAs provide information on malnutrition.


Failure Point: 0-2 HSAs are interested in the app. 0-2 HSAs are willing to give a recommendation. 0-2 HSAs provide information on malnutrition.


Red Light: Reassess the use of the USTAWI application in rural communities. Reassess how the USTAWI application can be used to have a positive impact in a Malawian context. 


 


Experiment Build:


1. Search for Health Surveillance Assistants (HSAs) who are willing to meet with PEV to discuss the USTAWI application and its applicability to their role.


2. Create a WISHLOAD/stakeholder analysis and meeting agenda on how the USTAWI application could be used by HSAs in their role within the community.


3. Initiate contact with the HSAs to arrange a meeting to discuss the Hidden Hunger project and the potential use of the USTAWI application


4. Conduct meeting with the HSA.


5. Determine interest. Ask for recommendation. Inquire about additional information or advice to inform the development of the project.


6. Victory.


7. Write meeting minutes and update HubSpot with full interaction.


8. Analyse Meeting minutes and compile a list of all information advice and feedback given by participants.


9. Write up list of participants who recommended the application.


10. Send a follow up email to all participants (saying thank you, briefing document attached and a link to the Hidden Hunger crowdicity page)
