[Proposed Experiment]: Solution CASE STUDY - Fiji December 2019

Lean Phase: Solution (MVP)

Assumption: Micro-enterprises in Fiji find value in our budgeting and financial management solution.

Time Box: 6 months

Success Metric:

Whether the proposed customer segment finds value in our solution, measured by the % of micro-enterprises that continuously use our solution.

Approach previously identified early-adopters from both coastal and inland villages.

CRITERIA

Success Point: More than 50% of Micro-enterprises are continuously using our solution 

Green Light: Proceed to currency testing 

Orange Light Range: 30-50% of micro-enterprises are continuously using our solution

Orange Light:

  • Adjust MVP according to feedback from micro-enterprises
  • Evaluate the pitching technique
  • Re-test MVP after adjustments

Failure Point: Less than 30% of micro-enterprises are continuously using our solution

Red Light:

  • Re-evaluate UVP 
  • Identify new features that micro-enterprises will like

Experiment Build: 

July 19 Team

  1. Pitch and brief MVP to team members 

  2. Write Survey and rehearse for MVP Testing 

  3. Go to Biasevu, Naroro and Vatukarasa to test MVP

  4. Conduct MVP Testing

  5. Post-interview: Collate data and feedback and identify any problems micro-enterprises had with the MVP

 

December 19 Team:

  1. Look back at July 19 MVP testing data and revisit the same micro-enterprises to determine if they have been continuously using the MVP

  2. Post-interview: Collate data and feedback and identify any problems micro-enterprises had with the MVP

  3. Proceed according to success metric
