Lean Phase: Channels


Assumption: Village Chiefs are a viable channel to reach our customer segment of low affluence members of Juthma and Vengara.


Time Box: 1 day.


Success Metric

Metric: Proportion of our interactions conducted by the Village Chief to new EOIs received.

Green Light: Proceed - Conduct Blast Text Experiment

Success Point: 30% of interactions convert to an EOI

Orange Light: Optimise - Ask Village Chief reasoning behind selection for number distribution OR Ideate methods to use Village Chiefs as a channel

Red Light: If this Channel is not viable, look towards

Failure Point: >10% of interactions convert to an EOI


Experiment build:

This experiment seeks to validate the use of the Village Chiefs of Vengara and Juthma as a channel to engage customers.


Builds off "[Experiment Results] Offer Test Energy  April 2019" where offer testing was conducted on Channel 3. Channel 3 provided EOIs from the village chiefs of Vengara and Jumtha, which validated that we should be targeting low affluence individuals in these towns.


The Village Chiefs of Vengara and Jumtha are followed up with a call to determine how many people they engaged with regarding our product. A follow up text or call is sent to the Village Chief to determine how many of these engagements translated into genuine engagement.
