Lean Phase: UVP


Locals in Jumtha and Vengara are willing to pay for an alternative more reliable and affordable solution to energy.

Time Box:  
Over 3 days.

Success Metric: 
Metric: Conversion from numbers engaged into paying customers. Expected to engage 30 customers.

Green Light: Proceed - Conduct Utility Test

Success Point: 60% conversion achieved through 18 sales

Orange Light: Optimise - Assess pricing options 

Red Light: If the product is not viable, we offer the money paid back to the customer. Re-visit our currency test.

Failure Point: >15% conversion rate


Experiment build:

Builds off "[Experiment Results] Offer Test Energy  April 2019" where offer testing was conducted on Channel 3. Channel 3 provided EOIs from the village chiefs of Vengara and Jumtha.

The Village Chiefs of Vengara and Jumtha are followed up via text and it is arranged to meet in person to present the value proposition, bringing interested members of the community. Two Team members deliver the sales script which is to follow:

- Introduction/Rapport Building

- Qualifying Questions

- Build value along the followings UVPs: Provide village locals with cheaper energy and access to more reliable energy in Jumtha and Vengara

Following presentation of the value proposition, we collect $1 from interested parties to guarantee early access to the energy solution we intend to provide.

This experiment cannot go ahead without the green, orange and red light indicators. These indicators are crucial for measurement of success and next steps.
