Lean Phase: Customer Segment & Problem

Assumption:  Females in Amisen are worried about their female hygiene and want to learn about their options

Results:
Channel 1: Medical Centre

150 patients passed through the medical centre over the 5 days, of the 150 it is estimated that 75% of them were females. Of the 112 females who passed through the centre (and prepared nurses), 76 provided their contact details.

A green light has been achieved with 67%. This rate is above the success metric of 30%.

Channel 2: Medical Centre with poster advertising
Method
Sign with the words; “Are you worried about your female hygiene? Learn your options? If interested please provide your contact details to the medical centre” was placed on the wall inside a different medical centre.

175 patients passed through the medical centre over the 5 days, of the 175 it is estimated that 75% of them were females based on channel 1 testing. Of the estimated 131 females who passed through the centre, 15 provided their contact details.

A green light has been achieved with 11.4%. This rate is above the success metric of 8%.

General Comments:
If the poster was within a specific section of the medical centre or delivered directly to female patients, a higher success rate may have occurred. Some of the contact details given were not able to be used as required details were not specified (some people didn’t leave phone number)

Channel 3: Schools
Method
Female teachers in the physical education space within one school were engaged to specifically reach out to female students between the ages of 13-16 for an after-class survey. Teachers held these students behind into a recess or lunch break and presented them with a conversational PCM and CTA as per experiment build.

45 female students were directly engaged by teachers over the 5 days, of the 45 female students 16 provided their personal information.

A green light has been achieved with 35.5%. This rate is above the success metric of 30%.

Comments: teachers thought that some students were potentially concerned about putting their names down in front of their classmates. It may have been more successful if it was done anonymously post the chat with them.

Validated Learning:
Results confirm that females in the rural regions of Amisen are our customer segment. It also affirms the assumption that they are worried about their female hygiene and want to learn about their options.

Next Move: The next experiment to be conducted is currency testing
