Hi, I had an idea for a mod/addon that would allow you to search for a planet based on the composition of the atmosphere. There's already a MATLAB extension that does this, but I can't afford an expensive program like MATLAB. A mod like this would make it easier to find planets with breathable atmospheres. Unfortunately, I can't code, but it's an interesting idea, if anyone wants to give making it a try?   Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet....

Streamlining handovers and improving global project operations Credit also to Jonathan Liondis (would not upload from his account) Please see example of the spreadsheet in the images below. as well as how to use it.    The length and number of documents in handovers is daunting, and the absence of linkages between documents discourages exploration of useful concepts and information. Additionally, the lack of standardisation in handovers makes it difficult to teach new Trekkers...

Current ideas for a Nepal project: 1. Domestic water treatment systems (treating pathogens from rivers and rainwater) 2. Small-scale power generation for remote villages (small-scale hydropower, but could look at solar) 3. Small-scale community-level biodigester and/or gasifier to treat organic waste (including sewage) to produce gas to be piped into kitchens. 4. Something about agriculture (not my field, but I know a very keen village that has indicated they want new ideas). I...

I have been tasked with Game Master. Mostly because I have a reputation for being a nerd and enjoying gaming, but also because I have a keen interest in this space and in utilising this platform, we want to ensure that the points you accumulate also result in meaningful  contributions, comments, ideas etc.  So without boring you with the entire guts of the gamification system (and I am sure many would want to know the mechanics of it!), I want to give you a basic overview of the logic...

This is a shout out to our man who graces this page in the headline image alongside our team leader Remi. Elton is the one who is looking very serious about getting on with business whilst Remi looks like he's just...well. Elton got very serious yesterday when on radio in Canberra to talk about Project Everest as part of world youth skills week. He was on there for around 5 minutes which is fantastic for radio. Not to be outdone Jack has been on the mic as well across Melbourne and...

There is a demand at the moment all over the world for a refrigeration method that does not use electricity or uses a low amount of it. In Cambodia we have come to realize that people, whether they live in the city or in rural villages, don't use anything to store food. Because of this, almost everyone is buying food for every meal everyday and wasting food due to the fact that they cant keep leftovers and much more. For this problem a few of us are trying to come up with a solution. To...
